Finally, I’m able to take a quick breather! I’m currently in the lovely city of Iloilo right now to make way for a personal cause, which is Education. I will be attending the inauguration of my boyfriend’s family’s scholarship foundation’s 2015 batch of scholars (as their PR Director). To be able to take this weekday leave, I had to front-load a lot of my office work deliverables and could not attend to my blog or events–in fact, I had to find a way to squeeze in a session with my designer for my Preview Ball gown.
On the bright side, the boyfriend is coming home this Monday so all is good.
That said, since I’m currently traveling (even if it’s for a business mater), I still bring with me all my travel essentials–and most importantly, a sturdy and reliable luggage set. With that, I will no longer focus on the nitty-gritty (aka facial products, makeup, organizers) since it’s an overnight trip but if there’s anything I can tell you when it comes to traveling, regardless of length or location, a heavy-duty bag is non-negotiable. The one I’ve been using as of late is a hard case luggage from Travelex. It’s light, it’s sturdy, and it’s very pretty–all for a very cheap price. Would you believe this is currently on sale in Lazada and costs less than 3,000? A steal.
I own a variety of high-end and mid-range luggages–I have a Rimowa, I was given an ACE bag, I have a Samsonite, a Tumi, a Delsey, and an American Tourister and let me tell you something… quality-wise, this bag is at par. Traveling on a budget but want to amp up your carry-on or luggage? I suggest you check out Travelex now.
That said, I’m signing off and enjoying the last few hours of my overnight trip. Also, can I just say that it’s been a while since I’ve been in casual beachwear? Thank God for Summer. Ever since I got a new job, I haven’t felt the spirit of Summer save for the sweltering heat but this is one of the few occasions I get to wear flat, open-toed sandals and rompers. Anyway, I hope everyone has a lovely weekend ahead of them. Here are a few more photos:
