I apologize for the lack of October posts, I’m making up for it in spades, I promise! And yes, hang on to the very end of this entry as I will be giving away something wonderful to start the birthday treat streak I mentioned in my last entry. Anyway, I had quite the hectic week… and to think it was just my birthday a couple of days ago. I was busy planning an intimate get-together a few days back, followed by a series of meetings for the office, then my boyfriend’s sister Katie arrived the very same time as my mom, then I had to prepare a presentation for my boyfriend’s family’s scholarship foundation, and finally, attend my aunt’s wedding. For someone who isn’t so organized with schedules in general, I felt like I was living a nightmare. Okay, I’m over-exaggerating, but you get the gist! Thankfully, everything’s simmered down a slight bit just now–I just came home from bringing my mom to the airport and I’m typing away quickly before I head out to watch this year’s most awaited horror movie: Annabelle.
Yes, old readers know for a fact that I’m obsessed with horror movies. I’ve been anticipating Annabelle’s run on the big screen! I’m just bummed that I won’t get to watch it with my boyfriend as this was something we did as a couple but it’s okay, by the time he comes home, I’ll have a DVD copy waiting for him. But yes, I love frightening films and believe it or not, I watch them to unwind–if you ask my family and close friends, they will tell you the same thing! In fact, on a regular day, I’d be eating dinner in my room whilst watching an Asian Horror flick uploaded over at Youtube. You name it, I’ve most likely seen it! I’m an odd ball, go sue me.
Anyway, this was the outfit I wore to that very important MVP announcement (to know more about it, check my post about Free Internet) last week that took the internet, the mobile networks, and the whole Philippines by storm. I didn’t know what to expect honestly as the heads of the MVP groups invited me for a “surprise”–I initially thought they were going to offer me as human sacrifice for being a staunch supporter of Globe Telecom but it was purely just an announcement–a very BIG announcement. I had a feeling that it was going to be a big deal so I made sure to dress up smart casual–with my power heels and bag in tow (I did opt for silk joggers just in case they really were going to chase me around in pitchforks).
So here are some more photos! Plus, this was the very same day I had a quick shoot for Cocorose London as one of their ambassadors (look at that beautiful pair of mustard snakeskin flats, beautiful). I’ll delve into my love affair with the official shoes of the London Royal Ballet extensively next week as I’ve prepared something extensive but not to pre-empt anything, I just want to say: who says you can’t rock a corporate look in flats?
As an opening treat to all of my loyal readers, I will be giving away…
A 2,000 php GC from Tomato PH. This was given to me during the Tomato Swap watch event and though I would love to keep this for myself, I was able to shop already back then (as you can see, the pants I’m wearing in this post is from Tomato) and I know for a fact that one of you would love to have this! 1 winner will be announced by 2nd week f November.
