Unfortunately, I’m still in the process of getting my groove back. I had good intentions to blog more this week but in between employment opportunities, helping manage my boyfriend’s family scholarship foundation, hitting the gym, and preparing for the 7th installment of Blogger’s United, I couldn’t find time to do so. I don’t even have time to have my fringes trimmed! I honestly do not understand how I’m still busy when I’m no longer employed–it’s beyond me. The flip-side to bumming around, of course, is that I get to wake up later than usual (I really love to sleep, I sleep more than 8 hours a day give or take).
Anyway, at this point, I am mentally exhausted. My head is throbbing and I’ve the occasional rhinitis that somehow stayed ever since I stopped being an incubator of the flu virus. To be fair, I’m pretty sure you would all feel the same if you spent the past 6 hours cleaning, rearranging, hauling, and folding items in your own closet. Deciding which items to keep and which items to sell is very difficult, okay? I’m emotionally attached to it. Also, I just consumed a giga bucket of Potato Corner Barbecue-flavored fries right now and I’m riding a sodium high.
So I’ll make it quick, I wore this outfit to a family dinner a week ago, prior to my leaving for Boracay (I will be posting photos of that soon). I’m totally obsessed with tropical prints, I don’t know why. It started as a small interest that started off with my palm trees top from Mango and then suddenly, I have a shelf-full of various items with different tropical/Hawaiian print versions. When I saw this pair of Palazzo pants from Forever 21, I grabbed it off the rack and went straight to the counter (with my other purchases, of course)–I wanted it and I was going to have it. Simple! I love Palazzo pants in general, I love how flattering the cut is, and I like how it’s usually slightly longer than my leg length and when paired with sky-high heels, it gives everyone the illusion that I’m naturally 5’11. Here are some more photos for better appreciation:
