As I am down with the flu, I’m going to keep this brief (there is also the matter that my laptop is running on 10% battery and I’m too lazy to grab my charger from the desk).
So prior to my Taiwan trip, JL and I shot for Glitterati’s 2014 Summer collection. Yes, it’s been long overdue. We’ve been on a self-imposed hiatus for a while given certain circumstances that involved a change in creative directions. We’ve decided to rebrand not only our social media accounts but also our free-standing store in Estrella St. There were other hindrances but thankfully, nothing too big for us to overcome. Now, we’re already in the process of launching our very own web-store for smoother transaction.
That said, I think this is Glitterati’s best collection to date. The materials are better and the designs are out of this world! I think JL’s aesthetic really shows in the pieces and you can see hints of our personalities when it comes to the colors and the prints. Keeping the past seasons’ best sellers, we’re mixing it up with updated new creations which still aims to be fierce and unique. Glitterati wants to offer its customers exclusivity… without having to compromise good quality, of course!
So we are indeed keeping only a few certain colors available for particulardesigns. Since Labor Day weekend in Boracay is coming up, I highly suggest you get some of our pieces to bring with you. The day swimsuits are fully functional and the lounge swimsuits are flattering for most body types. To get a better grasp of it, check out our collection by adding us up on Instagram and Liking us on Facebook!
Anyway… this was my outfit for the shoot! I’m not going to dwell so much on it as I really was just wearing something comfortable and breezy. Thank you to our uber-talented team comprised of Joanna Ladrido, my sister and co-owner, whose aesthetics served as a guide for the brand; Likewise, thank you to our favorite photographer: Ira Georgetti, who can always make time to shoot even a 24-hour notice, and finally, Sirene Sutton, our collection’s muse!
Here are some more photos–first, of my outfit, and then of the BTS. To view the full collection once again, don’t forget to add Glitterati up on our social media accounts!
