If you care to notice, my hair is still three shades lighter in this photo (haha)! This set is actually a backlog from my files and an outfit I wore a good month ago from my 5th monthsary dinner date with the boyfriend. I’ve been so busy these past few weeks that I completely forgot to upload this particular set, which is a shame because this set is a personal favorite of mine.
On that note, time flies so fast, doesn’t it? Whoever coined the term was spot-on. In just a few days, it’ll be Christmas, and directly after, the New Year… I could remember vividly blogging a post set for the start of 2012 and I can’t help but reminisce. It’s all sorts of amazing and wonderful really, and this year was so full of surprises–both good and bad!
But as an entirety, looking back I mean, I think the blessings outweighed the various hardships I had to endure and for that fact alone, I am miles thankful. I wouldn’t trade this whole year for anything. They say, “experience is the best teacher” and I’ve learned far more than I’ve bargained for from life, this year alone.
All in all, I ended the year with much dignity and with so much love–I can’t thank everyone enough for their magnanimity and support–not just from my friends and family per se but from my readers as well.
I always think that as the years progress, better things are in store for me and I honestly can’t wait for 2013 (and the rest of my life, of course). So I hope to spread some good vibes and Christmas cheer this December, for everyone (provided the world doesn’t end on the 21st, just kidding). So let’s all make do with the remaining days of the year and prepare ourselves with the wisdom we’ve garnered from 2012, and welcome 2013 with as much gusto as possible!
Also, speaking of Christmas cheer, please help my good friend and kabarkada Chiara Hortelano from Cebu Doctor’s University, by liking her photo–http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=445680435489073&set=a.445676338822816.101112.436933719697078&type=3&theater! I’d appreciate it lots! 🙂
On a side note: I love this floral corset from Topshop! I’m a huge fan of cropped corsets and Topshop has the best. When a new print or design comes out from this store, I always make a bee-line to the cashier and end up with a new addition to my expanding corset collection! I just love how structured and flattering Topshop’s pieces are, don’t you think?
Okay, I know, I really can’t do serious poses. I guess I’ll stick to giddy!
