Recent events taught me to toughen up a little and to harden my exterior. At this point, I no longer know who to trust (except for a select few). The storm that has graced the fashion blogging industry is no secret, and although I (and most of the bloggers) won’t dignify the on-goings with paragraphs upon paragraphs of rage rants, it does not necessarily mean that the whole ordeal did not and does not upset or distress me.
I think that it’s always at inopportune times (when I allow myself to drop down my guards) that I end up getting taken advantage of. But whatever, honestly. From now on, I’m keeping my circle close and making myself more vigilant with the people I tell my secrets to. You never know who will end up breaking your trust and I’ve loads of experience in that department.
At the end of the day, whether it is public mockery and humiliation or mere inner demons you’re having to contend with, it’s never right and it’s never fair to allow yourself to be trudged upon. Piece of advice? Push back. Push back as hard as you can with the resources you have at hand. Know your strength and mobilize, do what you can and fight for what you believe in–fight for what’s rightfully yours: your dignity. Doing nothing and consequently enabling people to get away with their wretched acts is tantamount to condoning the bad and the evil.
This was the outfit I wore to the launch of Sunpocket and O-Clock. Together with my soul sister (and so-called evil half), JL and her best friend Kato, we invaded Terminal at the Ronac Center one Sunday afternoon, two weeks ago or so. I decided to put on the coveted camo jacket I would not shut up about–which is, my boyfriend’s monthsary gift last September to play up the whole “tough girl” image I’m trying to project these past few weeks.
No more Ms. Nice Blogger.
Anyway! Sunpocket is a contemporary accessories brand rooted in surf and ski culture. It’s a bit trendy and sporty in genre. It was established in the late 1970s where Sunpocket’s signature foldable shades gained a strong following in the French ski community. Ten years later, Sunpocket had become immensely popular all over Europe. In 2011, Sunpocket was relaunched, introduced by its legacy of innovative and distinctive sunglasses.
Sunpocket established itself as a brand known for its style, authenticity, and quality. Now, you can grab a pair of your own at Terminal Inc, located at The Deck (4th Floor) Ronac Art Center, Ortigas Ave, North Greenhills San Juan Philippines. Store Hours are at 3 – 9PM, Tuesdays to Sundays.

Now here are some photos from the event:
The O-Clock Camo watch I gave my boyfriend. You can also get one of these from Terminal! He was also in a cotton Camo top I got for him from Zara but was too shy to have his photo taken that day.
Anyway, important announcement:
Normally, I don’t do blog giveaways anymore due to logistic problems from my sponsors however, recently MOA contacted me to host a blog giveaway that I could not resist (because I’m sure it’s something my readers would be interested in).
