Who would have thought that 2012 would be a tumultuous year for me?–and not in a bad way. When I asked the immaterial beings from high heavens to top my 2011, I never would have thought that they’d do so literally and quickly. So now, my schedule’s jam-packed with a hodgepodge of activities, work-related or just personal endeavors.
A few days ago, I took a giant leap to the real world by getting my car. Everything happened in such rapid succession that I literally could not breathe–quick decisions needed, coordination, so on and forth. Finally, “she”–I’m still at odds with naming her Rihanna or Angelina (inside joke, no need to know unless we want to offend the world)–arrived and I felt such a huge responsibility on my shoulders. It is like having your very own child.
Last Sunday, I drove Rihanna/Angelina around to our new condominium unit at the Fort. When I got there, I went to the veranda and couldn’t help but sigh. It’s the small things you know, that makes us happy. The small accomplishments and the small victories.
So I sat there contented.
This was how my Sunday rolled out–very casual and very calm.
Dress: Kohl’s LC line by Lauren Conrad | Necklace: Accessorize | Bangle: Charriol | Watch: TW Steel | Sandals: Marni for H&M
I absolutely love the floral print on the dress. It’s just so homey. Ever since my shuttling back and forth to the Fort, I’ve been so impressed by the lax community. It makes me feel like I’m in LA, relaxing and enjoying myself.
I shall come up with a longer post within the week. I’m just a little bit busy and the internet at the new condo won’t configure itself. Haha! See you all!!!
