Like most people, I have my own mental bucket list. Granted, I have a physical one too but it hasn’t really come to fruition yet. Attending the Coachella festival, as a matter of fact, is somewhere amongst the top 10 on that list–I just can’t decide which number I’m putting the task on in particular and in what order.
I mean, don’t you just think it would be great to be a part of some music-fashion culmination and being one with people who enjoy and appreciate the two art forms?
But realistically speaking, I know it’ll take me a good four or five years before I can fly myself to California. Thankfully, I know awesome people who throw awesome-themed parties so I can pretend to be a part of such event and hence this outfit.
So I didn’t exactly bring my hat that night fearing the place would be crowded and the whole atmosphere would start to get humid.
So this was how I came to the party, bare back and braids on my tousled mane. This is my favorite photo, by the way.
If it were a sunny California day, I would pull out the quirkiest sunnies I have on my closet: the cat-eyes sunnies with the sharp black plastic rims.
I am absolutely in love with both of my YSL-inspired rings. The one with the faux sting-ray leather detail is from Envy Accessories, a piece I decided I needed the moment I saw it and matched very well with my white wooden bangle with gold detail from Accessorize.
These are my Moschino Cheap and Chic fringe wedges. It is absolutely comfortable, in the softest suede leather, and the fringe details are just precious. I love the proportion of the wedges, it makes my feet look sexy!
