Before I bid everyone farewell, I would just want to apologize for the lack of posts within the past week. Truth be told, I have this nasty thing on my leg and elbow that won’t bid well on photos–one that had to be removed surgically.
So I spent a good portion of my week away from work–totally unexpected but necessary. Then I had a minor surgical operation on Wednesday so I spent a few hours sedated on some white-tiled room. It’s like a scene from some creepy Japanese horror. I digress.
The doctor told me a while ago that it’ll take more than a month for the wounds to heal so for the mean time, you all have to get acquainted with my bandages. Likewise, he said that my wounds should be kept dry at all costs.
Thankfully, a close friend of mine, who’s a nurse, suggested I buy this waterproof tape called Tegaderm. So I got myself a stash just so I can maximize my whole Palawan trip.
So anyway, I just finished packing for said trip and here’s a few of the stuff I brought:
Initial mound of clothes that I had no idea what to do with. I just figured they were the wardrobe that I wanted to take with me.
Two high-waisted denim shorts from Topshop.
Two black swimsuits–one Herve Leger cut-out and one bikini from Topshop. I’m no longer sure how they’ll look right next to my bandages (boo).
Tops and cover-ups from Forever 21 and Warehouse.
My Marc Ecko maxi-dress, perfect to cover the offending leg bandage (but not quite enough to cover my shoulders but beggars can’t be choosers).
My accessories loot from Forever 21, H&M, Things that Change, Envy Accessories, and Fashion Trends Collection.
My proposed outfit for the airport tomorrow–a silk top from Massimo Dutti and a necklace from Rockwell.
Topped with a scarf from Bershka, brown wrap shorts from Forever 21, Wine colored belt from Dolce & Gabbana, and brown Havaianas slippers (not in photo).
Wish me luck! Good bye!
