After the numerous and unabashed plugging in my previous posts, the Forever 21 launch party at Member’s Only has finally, finally happened! It was an entirely happy, fun, and rewarding event all-through-out, with Forever 21 Philippines launching their new gift cards and announcing their very first brand ambassadors.
Let me take the time to thank everyone once again, for making this possible. As I’ve long mentioned, despite the fact that I’ve been blogging for quite a time, Konichiwear is a relatively new blog and I’m personally so amazed and happy at the opportunities you’ve all helped me acquire. That aside, I’d also like to thank Forever 21 Philippines for this opportunity, for allowing me to be one of their brand ambassadors. I ask myself what you saw in me all the time but I figured, maybe my continuous visits (like the time I brought my camera and one of your staff had to reprimand me, herp derp), my sheer love for the brand, my cute skirts, and my witty repartees didn’t go unnoticed–I kid, but maybe by only 50%!
Last but not the least, thank you to my wonderful friends for being present! It was an important moment and I don’t think it would have been the same if you guys werent there: Seph and Shai of Love Chic Tumblr (see photo below), Jurgen Estanislao of SeoTaoist.com (see photo below), Weesa Ang, fellow brand ambassador Tricia Gosingtian, and the rest of the other amazing and fashionable bloggers who came.
P.S.: Photos are shamelessly lifted from Tricia Gosingtian, and the other amazing bloggers who tagged me in Facebook ((fellow ambassadors Patricia Prieto, Lissa Kahayon, and bloggers Karl Leuterio and Kookie Buhain). The only photo I have from my camera–or at least, the only decent one, is the one I used for the feature image.
Wish you all could’ve made it though. 🙂 Enjoy!
All outfits (and I mean all): Forever 21
With fellow brand ambassadors Patricia Prieto for Love 21, Lissa Kahayon for 12×12, Tricia Gosingtian for F21, and David Guison for F21 Men. I, on the other hand, am representing the brand Heritage 1981–it’s the more collegiate, hippie line. Funny story: my first ever F21 purchase was a purple dress from Heritage 1981! Whoot!
Also, you may not see it but I am wearing a pair of size 9 wedges. I got this pair in a smaller size but somehow, at the counter, they exchanged it for these. So the entire night, I had to stomp my way around. I’m supposed to have this pair exchanged except, I’m pretty, pretty sure that there won’t be a size available by the time I get back to Forever 21. The last time I went for Biker Babe clogs? They sold out in a day so basically, there is no hope for this pair (there were only 2 sizes left by the time I got them). Cue more sad faces.
The ambassadors with fellow blogger Kookie Buhain.
Tricia and I are Serena and Blair (usually, it’s the other way around). Plus, our accessories:
If you can actually see my awesome, awesome hair on the photo. :>
Last photo with brand manager Jane Cheng (wearing the coveted thigh-highs and uber trendy animal print).
For those of you who joined my contest, it has now concluded. I shall be announcing the winner next week! And don’t forget, even if the party’s over and done, you can still get your Forever 21 Gift Checks. 🙂
